Here is an Orion 8" f/3.9 Astrograph Newtonian Telescope setup, ready to go for serious astrophotography or observation. I have had this setup for less than a year and it is in brand new condition.
Whether you are serious about starting out or a seasoned professional this will serve you well.
Setup includes the telescope, Baader Coma corrector, Kendrick Astro Dew heaters and dew controller, Farpoint Astro Collimation kit (2" Laser/2" Cheshire/2" autocollimator) in separate padded case, Pelican case for transport of telescope, bahtinov mask for focusing, vixen style dovetail bar for mounting, straight through finder scope, collimation cap, phillips screwdriver, fan for primary mirror cooling, 12v power cord for primary mirror fan, center spotting template and extra center spots for primary mirror.

The telescope is an Orion Newtonian Astrograph. It has a 203mm (8") aperture and an 800mm focal length with an F ratio of 3.9, which allows you the ability to capture the light from an object with either a slower shutter speed, meaning hours less time outside in the wee hours trying to get a good photograph. It has internal baffling to increase contrast and shut out unwanted light reflections. The interior is black to increase contrast as well. It has a 2" crawford style dual speed focuser which is very sturdy and precise. The secondary mirror components have been upgraded to have a tool-less adjustment for easy collimation. There are Kendrick astro dew heaters on the primary mirror and secondary mirror to prevent the accumulation of dew and frost from ruining your imaging or visual session. There is also a cooling fan attached to the rear of the primary mirror to help cool the telescope down when the evening temperature changes. There is also an included 8x50 straight through finder scope that attaches to the telescope for finding targets.

Included in this set up, aside from the aforementioned dew heaters from Kendrick astro, is a Kendrick astro dew heater controller that runs the heaters.
A Baader Planetarium 2" Coma Corrector, which you can attach your DSLR camera to for astrophotography to avoid aberration.
A FarPoint Astro collimation kit is also included which includes a 2" laser for easily collimating the secondary mirror, a Cheshire for collimating the primary mirror, and an Autocollimator for making that final precise tweak that puts it all together; all of these collimation pieces fit tidily into their own padded case.
For easy portability I am also including a Hardigg TL500i case made by Pelican for FREE. It holds the telescope very securely and is of good quality.
I will also include the Bahtinov mask for precise focusing of the telescope.

If you are serious about getting into astrophotography or want another scope for you collection then this is a great buy, you will not find another kit as complete as this for the price, anywhere. I've done the hours of research and work to make sure that all of these pieces work together beautifully. Now just add your camera and a mount and you're ready to go

I am willing to meet anywhere from Millinocket, Maine to most locations in New Hampshire or possibly beyond if you were to choose to pick up locally.

This is a great and complete kit that has been meticulously cared for and is in brand new condition. The reason I am selling is that my hobbies in life are changing with a new family and we could use the space.

I will accept PayPal payment as well at no extra charge if you would prefer that.

Asking $1,000 for the complete setup. Will not separate pieces.
Again, paypal is accepted so you can pay with credit card if preferred without needing a paypal account.
